Organization Provides Over 2,400 Coats to Kentucky Children In Need!

Ok, this is my last post about it! We have officially provided over 2,400 BRAND NEW coats and other winter items to central and eastern Kentucky children. This was Believing In Forever Inc..'s 10th annual "A Coat to Keep the Cold Away" youth coat drive. Thank you bunches to Jenny Ballou Stotz (along with/ Olivia and Piper), Angie Clemons Cummins, Darlene Madison, Cindy Archer, Tammy Taylor, Mike Taylor, Hope & Rande Jones, Terry Dumphord, Doyle Lee, Kenneth Payne, and the Williams family for helping us sort, bag up, and deliver coats this year—a true labor of love. Cierra S. Spaulding’s system made for a flawless coat drive season and possibly the most seamless year to date!

A big thank you to our large donors, Walmart Nicholasville, Walmart Lexington - Nicholasville Rd, Meijer (Hamburg location), Galls, Grapevine Giving Foundation, Lexington Women For Good, Sky Zone, The Campbells Christmas Concert, and the Elhapa Foundation for making this year possible. But in a year, when major contributions were at an all-time low, the community stepped up in a major way! The amount of small businesses, individuals, and families who stepped up to give what they could, was truly an amazing thing to watch! This year was proof positive, that if we all do a little, the impact we can make collectivity is enormous! Thank you Perry & Perry State Farm Insurance 2128 Nicholasville Rd U-Haul service for cutting us a deal, PrintLEX for expediting our promo needs, and LM Communication (107.9 The Beat Lexington) and LEX 18 for running ads throughout the coat drive season. Thank you to all media outlets, influencers, and individuals who used their platforms to share and broaden the work of our mission this holiday season!

Thank you, Pastor Richard Gaines, Ms. Elizabeth, and the entire Consolidated Baptist Church family! Your dedication to service in the Lexington community gave credibility and trust to our coat drive in a way that enabled us to serve many! To all the schools, Head Start programs, and daycares we served in 2023, it was truly an honor and we thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your kiddos. Thank you, Jesus, for guiding our team every step of the way and blessing us with such an amazing opportunity to serve! Can't wait until next year!
